From October 16 to November 6, 2012, DCUO celebrates Halloween with its new in-game event, “The Witching Hour.” Thanks to the mischievous Klarion the Witch Boy, all hell has broken loose across Gotham City as masked ghouls cause chaos in the streets and torment trick-or-treaters. Heroes will be tasked with stopping the dangerous apparitions, while Villains will work to cause even more trouble. Ultimately, players will be challenged to enter the Goth club, “The Midnight Masquerade” and take down Klarion, who has managed to increase his power by stealing the abilities of magic Heroes and Villains such as Zatanna, Black Adam and Tala. Players will be rewarded with a bagful of seasonal goodies for their efforts, including new trinkets, a powerful new pet, and spooky appearance items such as the Bone Daddy Mask and the Ghastly Ghoul Mask.
