Today, ProSiebenSat.1 Games and Sony Online Entertainment (SOE) introduced the first ever player-created items into marketplaces of EverQuest, EverQuest II and Free Realms as part of its new Player Studio program, as well as announced the launch date for Wizardry Online.

As detailed earlier this year, Player Studio offers gamers the opportunity to design in-game items that can be sold in the marketplace. For the first time, players are able to contribute directly to their favorite participating online game while earning revenue.

A handful of selected player-created items were introduced into each of the game’s marketplaces today, with more to come in the upcoming weeks and months as submitted by players.

Additionally, ProSiebenSat.1 Games and SOE today announced that Wizardry Online is set to challenge players when it launches on January 16, 2013. Those daring enough will be able to join the action in one of the most challenging massively multiplayer online (MMO) games available.

A developer webcast will feature the official announcement of the Wizardry Online launch date and will also be the destination for hearing the complete details on the launch and new information on Wizardry Online.
