Karlsruhe, 2/08/2012. From the 15th to the 19th of August, Gameforge will present its new premium MMO game RaiderZ at Gamescom in Cologne to a large audience for the first time. The innovative online role-playing world will be publicly playable for the first time in Germany in hall 6 at booth B011, which will cover a total of 320 square metres. In addition, the team will provide a sneak-peak at the next big content update for AION. Over 50 game terminals will be available at the Gameforge booth, allowing visitors to test out both RaiderZ and AION 3.0 extensively. Meanwhile, models in RaiderZ-inspired fantasy costumes will be at the booth and roaming the halls as walking acts in order to draw attention.
Well known from GIGA Games, the popular presenter team of Florian Kamolz and Michael Bister will host an entertaining stage programme on all public days. The programme will include regular presentations and developer panels on both high-calibre online games. In the main daily raffle, booth visitors will have the chance to win high-quality fan gear every afternoon. In a special photo cabin at the booth, fans will be able to equip fantasy weapons and have themselves photographed and imported into 3D environments from AION or RaiderZ. During the convention, Gameforge will broadcast a live-stream of the action at their booth on a micro-site on their portal www.gameforge.com. In the coming days, the team will announce many more details about the convention programme on the websites for RaiderZ (www.raiderz-europe.com) and AION (www.aionfreetoplay.com), as well as on the Gameforge portal.
RaiderZ is an online role-playing game that will test players tactical prowess in combat. The fantasy game world is distinguished by its action-oriented combat system, its free character development, and the hunt for all kinds of impressive bosses. Gameforge will offer the title as a free download in the second half of 2012, according to current plans. AION is the most successful MMO title from Korean developer NCsoft®. The game world has been continually developed and expanded upon with numerous updates. Since February 2012, Gameforge has offered AION for free in Europe. The announced content update to AION 3.0 will be one of the most comprehensive updates in the game’s existence and will bring a housing area, mounts, and many other new features to the game.
